“I’m going to kill him.”
“He hasn’t done anything.”
“I’m going to kill him anyway.”
“You don’t think you’re being just a little dramatic, Seb?” Sebastian glanced at the dark haired boy keeping pace with him, frowning slightly.
“You’ve met Maddy, Shane.” Shane nodded, still confused; and Sebastian sighed, although he continued to walk towards Stuart House.
“She’s my sister, Shane; and she’s also an intolerable flirt. Add that to her going on dates with Derek, and we have a disaster in the making. I’m going to kill him.” Shane shook his head, still confused, and grabbed Sebastian’s hand to slow him slightly.
“Explain to me how his dating Maddy results in you wanting to prematurely end his life?” Sebastian smiled briefly.
“You’ve heard what happens to the girls Derek dates, Shane; you’ve seen that book Casey’s got. My sister is half as likely to rebound a hundred times as castrate him in his sleep if he pisses her off. If I kill him now, we won’t have to worry about that; he’ll be dead, and Maddy will find someone else to entertain her.” Shane chuckled softly at that, squeezing Sebastian’s hand.
“If Derek’s just entertainment, surely if anyone is going to get hurt it’ll be him.” Sebastian blinked at the suggestion, obviously seriously considering it; before he shook his head.
“Doesn’t matter; I have to at least threaten him. It’s part of being the older sibling.” Shane snorted; and bit on his bottom lip as he thought of something.
He glanced up at Sebastian, a grin slowly spreading across his face.
“So I’m guessing you get why Blaine has a problem with us, then?” He asked; and Sebastian froze gaping. He looked back at Shane, his expression betrayed, before burying his face in the shorter boy’s shoulder.
“How can you do that to me?” He whined; and Shane snorted, idly tugging on the end of Sebastian’s tie.
“You’re going to have to deal if you want to play the whole ‘protective older brother’ game.” Sebastian pulled back, glaring at him.
“Traitor.” He stated simply, before resuming their path toward Stuart.
Shane chuckled softly, jogging to catch up with him again.
